When I decide to make these portraits I'm typically streaming them out to Twitch. This is why you will see my music bar with titles. I also use it to teach people about Illustrator as people have questions. I keep the recordings because I find it helpful to see what my own workflow is and how to make it better.

She is a light to those around her. I love so much about her, the shape of her eyes are very expressive, her nose is a fun set of shapes and structures, her hair is as fun as she is. She is just someone I've come to greatly admire the resolve, determination, resilience, kindness, and energy of even though she is on the other side of the world.

I spent a lot of time trying to learn the freeform gradient tool for this project since I had decided I didn't know enough about it. I'm very surprised at how much difference it made.
It also allowed many teaching opportunities for what Illustrator was capable of live. I very much enjoyed actively answering questions and doing demonstrations for people of various skill levels. I and my viewers enjoyed the hair the most during this process.
